Whether you need 16 cameras or hundreds of cameras, we offer a solution. Because
the cameras are IP-based, you can take advantage of a wide selection of cameras
without jeopardizing the integrity of the overall solution.
Cameras are powered with industry standard (802.11af) Power over Ethernet (PoE)
which makes adding cameras very scalable. If you have a wireless environment, wireless
cameras can be deployed as well.
Integration with your Access Control System and/or your Telephone System allows
for maximization of your technology investments. The tracking of trigger-based situations,
controlled door access, and video coverage of pre-defined situations can also be
implemented.
Access to the surveillance software for live and recorded video can be done with
an included client software package or accessed via the web. Each of these solutions
offers secured access. The client software package can be integrated with Active
Directory.
As your Network becomes more relied upon for critical applications such as voice,
the preparation for video surveillance to utilize that same Network is ideal. We
assess the state of your Network and create an environment that is stable, reliable,
and efficient. Our expertise with Networking allows us to be confident in recommending
a video surveillance solution that utilizes your current Network. This allows you

Example: Suburban School District
DataServ was contacted by a large suburban school district to design, install and
maintain a video surveillance solution for the entire district. This solution was
required to run over the existing network infrastructure and included both internal
and external views, including hallways, common areas, parking lots, entrance doors
and playgrounds. IR lights were included with some of the outdoor cameras allowing
for night time surveillance. As part of phase 1 of this project, over 25 cameras
were placed throughout four district buildings with centralized management and storage
at the main district hub. Upon the solution completion, the district will have over
150 cameras providing for safe and secure school premises for school personnel,
students and parents.
