Seminar:
Safety is the acceptable level of risk that school leadership is willing to accept
on a daily basis and Security as a pro-active approach to reduce the risk level
by incorporating effective tools in order to reduce daily risk. Alarming statics
show there are over 255,000 non-fatal serious crimes each day, 200,000 students
that bring weapons to school each day, 2,000 students are physically attacked on
school grounds every hour and 900 teachers/administrators are threatened every hour,
of which 40 are physically attacked.
Providing a safe environment for teaching and learning is on the minds of everyone
involved in the educational process. Our Westlake facility provides a showcase for
school administrators and community leaders to see a demonstration of safety and
security practices first hand. We have implemented access control, internal and
external IP communication capability, IP video surveillance and intrusion detection
into an integrated solution that provides the physical security recommended for
today’s education systems.
