Due to a large addition and renovation to a career and technology center, DataServ was contracted to provide a Network upgrade. The center chose to do a core upgrade with redundant Gig links to wired closets. Wireless access, as well as firewall, VPN concentrator and Network management were a part of the solution to ensure Network security. Network ports were 10/100/1000 powered for enhanced performance and DataServ is providing help desk and on-site maintenance. Their Network has the capability to support a hybrid IP Telephony solution, as well as provide the infrastructure necessary to leverage existing resources like videoconferencing and also allow for growth of future applications including streaming Video on Demand and Webcasting.
